The Bond Digbeth Wedding

The Bond Company in Birmingham has been on my "got to shoot at" venue list for what seems like forever, but when ever I've had an enquiry for to shoot there I've always been booked up...... but not this time! Syrah & Sam's wedding was a blast from the word go, a truly fabulous couple, who I discovered have an incredible taste in music ; )

Syrah and Sam totally stamped their creative vision on the Bond Company, with loads of quirky and personal touches, from Polaroid photos displayed in floral gold hoops of special shared moments, a mini DIY Tattoo studio "not permanent of course!", to the most original stand out, damn right awesome table seating plan you've ever seen! Oh and don't forget the doughnut wall.

The speeches were genuinely lovely to photograph, with people laughing and smiling from start to finish, before all taking part in a quiz with each table competing against each other to become quiz masters. As the evening celebrations were approaching, the sun was beginning to set across the city of Birmingham casting its shadows on its subjects. I took this opportunity to shoot at what is actually my favourite time day to photograph portraits, which in the biz is known as the golden hour.

There's so much more I could tell you about this wedding, but for me it was just so lovely to see such a great bunch of people, so happy and connected to each other in the way Syrah & Sam's friends and family are. I truly believe that there is nothing better than epic moments captured in film, to revisit time and time again.......prepare your eyeballs and Enjoy⚡️
