The Isle of Skye Elopement

I'd normally start off a blog by talking about how awesome a wedding venue was, but not today. The photos I'm going to share with you here feature no wedding venue at all. Instead there is an incredible backdrop of mountains, glens and waterfalls, a rugged landscape with miles and miles of open space and vast lakes which I can only describe as being akin with middle earth from the Lord of the Rings movies or a vast scene from a Game of Thrones episode. The Isle of Skye, what a place that genuinely blew me away. This shoot is the creative vision for both my photography and Stefan's videography from YSD Media. We have worked together before on some fantastic weddings, but this really gave us the opportunity to do something just that little bit different together and create something epic. A massive thank you to the bride and groom Ahmet & Laura who climbed the mountains with us in the wind and rain, stood by waterfalls and were up for the adventure by travelling around the island to take in the stunning scenery and famous landmarks such as the Old Man of Storr, Mealt Falls, Sligachan Bridge and The Fairy Pools to name a few. Take in the beauty of the Isle of Skye and this cool as couple!
